Lay Person to Law Student Mentoring Program
Hey aspiring lawyers!
Just like you, I had a dream of attending law school and becoming an attorney. Even though many people discouraged me, I believed in myself and with all of my hard work, I got accepted into law school and offered a full scholarship! Now, I am a licensed attorney running my own law firm, Shantell Law.
So, with this challenge, I want to help you overcome your fears and accomplish your dream of becoming a lawyer. This challenge is created for aspiring lawyers of all ages as I will include information for people still in grammar school, high school, college and those who've completed their education, but want to go to law school.
In this four week mentorship program, you will learn all about becoming a lawyer from start to finish including how to:
- Prepare for law school while in high school;
- Select an undergraduate university to attend;
- Chose an undergraduate major;
- Leverage undergraduate involvement to get accepted into law school;
- Develop skills that will help you succeed in law school;
- Prepare for the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test);
- Strategize taking the LSAT;
- Apply to law school via the Law School Admission Council;
- Perfect your personal statement & references;
- Select law schools to apply for;
- Get scholarships for law school;
- Overcome the naysayers; and
- SO MUCH MORE!
